My name is Tom Longo; I am a Web developer living in Adelaide, South Australia working for Kojo. My specialty in the last decade has been in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, but I’m also familiar with PHP and have used frameworks such as WordPress and CodeIgniter.

I love the Web, but I’m ready for a new challenge; I want to make cool things, and the coolest things are happening over on iOS. As a Web developer who hasn’t even mastered PHP, learning Objective C doesn’t come easy to me, but I’m determined.

This blog is a record of my progress learning Objective C and the iOS SDK. Every week as I learn more, I will post my notes and discoveries on this blog in the hope that it helps someone else in my position. I welcome any other newbies to take the journey with me, and appreciate any tips and help from professionals.

Learning iOS Development is an intimidating task, but I will keep blogging until I have my very own app in the App Store!
